An accomplished executive in New York, Jay Zises leverages over five decades of investment management experience to serve as chairman of A Cap Investment Management. As a way of giving back to his community, Jay Zises supports multiple community-centered causes, including HELP USA, a nonprofit that promotes affordable housing and self-reliance.

National housing nonprofit HELP USA and the mass timber developers Spiritos Properties and Beulah Land Development Corporation convened with officials and residents in Dixwell, New Haven, to celebrate the Cornerstone Revitalization Project. The Connecticut-based project is poised to add 69 affordable housing units to the location. Families with low-to-medium incomes are the target tenants of the project, scheduled for completion by spring 2023.

According to officials, the project will feature passive house design principles that leverage heat recovery, insulation, and internal heat sources to accomplish thermal comfort and reduce energy costs. The building's interior will also feature durable prefabricated wooden floors and walls to minimize waste.
